A guide for fitting your splashback

Important - Preventing Breakages

Before you remove the glass from the packaging make sure you have a flat clean area slightly larger than the glass with something soft underneath to lay the glass on.

All our splashbacks are made from toughened glass and are heat resistant. They are however, susceptible to breakage if dropped on a corner or straight edge. To avoid breakage do not stand the glass up on its corner end, and do not stand the glass up on its end without something soft protecting the edges.

Do not attempt to cut drill or adjust the glass.

Fitting Instructions

Suction handling pads (Optional for very large panels only).

All our splashbacks are made from toughened glass and are heat resistant. They are however, susceptible to breakage if dropped on a corner or straight edge. To avoid breakage do not stand the glass up on its corner end, and do not stand the glass up on its end without something soft protecting the edges. Do not attempt to cut drill or adjust the glass.

The glass should be adhered to a secure and permanent surface like a plastered wall or plywood. If the wall is powdery you may need to seal it with a PVA first and then wait for it to dry before adhering the glass.


Slight uneven surfaces may be corrected with extra silicone	Avoid touching or wetting the splashback for 24 hours following installation

Remove the glass splashback from the packaging and place it image or colour side down, on a prepared flat, clean, soft surface.
Now that the glass is on a flat clean surface, using our neutral cure, solvent free silicone adhesive; you can start applying equally sized proportions (roughly 20mm about 100mm apart). Be careful not to put any silicone too close to the edge as this may squeeze over the edge of the glass.
Place the glass splashback into position on the wall and gently press into place.
Ensure there is enough silicone adhesive in place between the worktop and the glass to avoid water ingress.
Avoid touching or wetting the glass splashback for 24 hours to allow the silicone adhesive to set.

Care Instructions

Use microfibre cloths – they clean spillages without the need for harsh chemicals.
Toughened glass is very strong and it is difficult to break even with high impact. However, we recommend the glass be treated with care.
Never use abrasive polishing pads or material (e.g. wax) on the glass surface.

Glass radiator cover maintenance & precautions

Glass radiator covers should be cleaned with soapy water only - (front of panel only) – no chemical based products should be used

Your glass radiator cover is not designed to be sat on or leaned against. Constant movement may scratch the protective layer on the back of the panel. Your guarantee does not cover scratches incurred once fitted.

The brackets supporting the glass radiator is designed to last for many years if not tampered with, any movement of the bracket may result in scratches to the image. Your guarantee does not cover scratches incurred once fitted.

Your glass radiator covers are produced using the finest low iron 6mm toughened glass. Toughened glass is robust and will last a lifetime if cared for correctly. Toughened glass can only be broken if it suffers from a significant impact blow to the edge or corner of the panel. Please be careful when vacuuming and or when moving large items near to panel.

Any damage caused by movement or mishandling is not covered by your warranty.
